Actually, a lovey dovey Harley and Joker can make sense because DC has Elseworlds and those Elseworlds can portray a character in ways that wildly deviate from main canon, so I guess it's not a stretch to assume there's some fictional universe where Joker and Harley are a loving couple. Plus, if you grew up watching Batman the Animated Series, you might have gotten the impression they were an item due to censorship laws not being able to give kids an idea of the true nature of their relationship, so I understand why people ship them, and I actually like this ship, with the caveat that it's not main continuity Joker and Harley because that would never happen.
